Creating and maintaining personal rates

To create or maintain a personal rate, go to the overview of project rates. For more information, see Overview of project rates.  In the Personal rates section, click New.

On this page, you can create or maintain the personal rate of a person.

Description

General section

It is mandatory to fill in all the information in this section.

The following page will be displayed if you access from the overview of project rates:

Hour category

Type or select an hour item to be linked to the personal rate. You can only select items linked to the assortment defined in the Assortments section of the Professional services automation: Settings page. For more information, see Defining Professional services automation settings.

Start date - End date

Type or select the start and end dates of the active period of the internal rate.

Note: Upon saving a newly created personal rate, the range of dates of the existing personal rates will be adjusted accordingly if the range of dates of the new personal rate overlaps with the range of dates of the existing personal rates.

For example, the following personal rates are already created:

• Rate 1: December 1, 2010 to December 15, 2010 with a rate of 100.00.
• Rate 2: Dec 16, 2010 to Dec 31, 2010 with a rate of 115.00.

A new personal rate is then created.
