Creating and modifying project rates

Menu paths

  • Click Projects on the left menu to display the projects that you are a member of. Then, click the hyperlinked project code under Project.

Introduction

Project rates are project-specific and only available for the selected project. On this page, you can create, view and maintain the project rates linked to the project.

Roles and rights

To view project rates:

  • the Project manager role is required and you have to be the manager of the project, or
  • the Project controller role is required.

To create and modify project rates:

  • any system or user-defined role with function right 1015 — Maintain rates at the Project level or higher is required, and
  • you have the right to view the rates.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is applicable to product update 260 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

How do I create project rates?

  1. On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink in the Project column.
  4. On the selected project card, under the Project monitor section in the Start up column, click Rates.
  5. On the Project rates page of the selected project, under the Project rates section, click New.
  6. On the Project rate page of the selected project, define the relevant fields.
  7. Click Save.

Keep in mind: All fields with the “!” icon are mandatory.

How do I modify project rates?

  1. On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink in the Project column.
  4. On the selected project card, under the Project monitor section in the Start up column, click Rates.
  5. On the Project rates page of the selected project, under the Project rates section, click the corresponding Edit hyperlink of the required project rate.
  6. On the Project rate page of the selected project, modify the relevant fields.
  7. Click Save.

How do I delete project rates?

  1. On the Projects: Search page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select the required project by clicking the hyperlink in the Project column.
  4. On the selected project card, under the Project monitor section in the Start up column, click Rates.
  5. On the Project rates page of the selected project, under the Project rates section, click the corresponding Edit hyperlink of the required project rate.
  6. Click Delete. The message “Are you sure you want to delete this record?” will be displayed.
  7. Click OK.
