Product Updates 420, 419, and 418: VAT return form for year 2020 available (German legislation)
The VAT return form has been updated to support the tax
submission in year 2020, and the changes in its layout will be applicable to
all types of VAT returns, namely Elster, trial and final VAT returns, and
zero VAT returns and corrections.
The following changes have been made to the VAT return form:
Page 1
The description for box 60 has been changed to
"Steuerpflichtige Umsätze des leistenden Unternehmers, für die der Leistungsempfänger
die Steuer nach § 13b Abs. 5 UStG schuldet".
The footer has been changed to "USt1 A-
Umsatzsteuer-Voranmeldung 2020 - (08.19)". This is also applicable to page
2 of the VAT return form.

The description for box 46 has been changed to
"Sonstige Leistungen nach § 3a Abs. 2 UStG eines im übrigen
Gemeinschaftsgebiet ansässigen Unternehmers (§ 13b Abs. 1 UStG)".
