Product Updates 412, 411, and 410: VAT boxes ES1 and ES2 added to VAT returns (Irish legislation)

As of product update 412, two new VAT boxes have been added to the VAT return reporting in the Irish legislation. The VAT boxes introduced are:

• ES1 - Total value of services supplied to customers in other EU countries
• ES2 - Total value of services supplied from suppliers in other EU countries
  
  

The VAT boxes can be added to the VAT codes in the VAT return boxes maintenance screen via:

• System ➔ General ➔ Countries ➔ Tax codes

They will sum the total VAT sales or purchase basis, for the sales or purchase transactions which use the VAT codes linked to the new boxes and will be displayed on the VAT return layout via menu path Finance à VAT à Statistics à Value added tax.
