Product Updates 406 and 405: New fields added in Audit file screen and tags and blocks introduced for XML file (Portuguese legislation)

In Exact Globe Next, the Standard Audit File for Tax (SAFT) report in the XML format can be generated for the Portuguese legislation (see Product Update 403: New standard audit file introduced (Portuguese legislation)). In product update 406, a simplified version of the XML file was introduced (see Product Update 405: Mode options added for audit files to be exported (Portuguese legislation)). In year 2013, an updated version of the SAFT XML was introduced by the Portuguese tax authorities.

In this product update, several changes have been made, such as the following:

Audit file screen

In the Audit file screen (at Finance à Reports à Audit file), the Action and Format options have been removed. Under the Criteria section, the Tax basis field has been added, and the Mode options have been have been improved to enable the flexibility of selecting the type of report to generate.

XML file

In this updated version of the SAFT XML, the <MovementOfGoods> block has been added under the <SourceDocuments> block. The XML file generated will be based on the option selected at Mode in the Audit file screen. Depending on the option selected at Mode, the XML blocks that will be displayed in the file will be based on the following:
