Product Updates 407 and 406: SEPA direct debit supports Norma 58 file format

Previously, when processing a sales invoice, if the SEPA direct debit (SDD) functionality was enabled in the selected cash instrument, it was possible to generate only the SEPA PAIN format files for the direct debits (collections). For more information, see Product Update 406: SEPA Credit Transfer and Direct Debit formats introduced to several countries.

In this product update, the Norma 58 file format is supported by the SEPA direct debit (SDD) functionality in Exact Globe Next. With this improvement, both the SEPA PAIN and Norma 58 file formats will be available when processing a sales invoice where the country of the cash instrument is Spain.

The following are the changes made to the collection process, if the SEPA direct debit (SDD) functionality is enabled in the cash instrument where the country of the cash instrument is Spain.

When you process a sales invoice from the SDD management screen (for more information, see Viewing SEPA direct debit (SDD) management report) or Collection screen (for more information, see Viewing payments for collection), the file format selection screen will be displayed as shown in the following example:

·         If Norma 58 is selected at Type, the corresponding Norma 58 file will be generated.

·         If SEPA direct debit is selected at Type, the Processing date field will be disabled.

Upon clicking OK, the SEPA screen will be displayed as shown in the following example:

When you click OK in this screen, the corresponding SEPA direct debit file will be generated.

Note: When you process the invoice, if the SEPA direct debit functionality is disabled in the cash instrument, then both the Norma 19 and Norma 58 file formats will be available in the file format selection screen.
