Product Updates 407 and 406: Enhanced D394 functionality supported (Romanian legislation)

Exact Globe Next supports the D394 functionality for the Romanian legislation. This functionality has been enhanced in accordance to the most recent specifications provided by the tax office of the Romanian Ministry of Public Finance. It is used to submit the electronic XML form of the legally required report, as explained in the following steps.

Run the two following reports from the system menu:

• D394 Achizitii (purchase)
• D394 Livrari (sales)

The results of each report look similar, as shown in the following example. They represent the source data for the content of the final D394:

Export the information from both reports to CSV fort files, and then copy the content of these files into relative pages of the standard Microsoft Excel worksheet, namely, ROD394-2012.XLS.

The standard Microsoft Excel worksheet includes a few sheets (tabs):

• Comp: This sheet contains the header information like year, period, company, representative name, and other information. The information should be filled in manually by the user.
• Achiz: This sheet contains the purchase information split by fiscal code and the types A & C as defined for the content of the final report.
• Livrari: This sheet contains the sales information split by fiscal code and the types L & V as defined for the content of the final report.
• ClientiFurnizori: This sheet serves as optional information and it is not used for the purposes of the report.

When all the data have been entered to the Excel sheet and checked, the XML file can be generated by clicking the Export data to XML button on the Comp page. Once clicked, you will be prompted for the location and the filename. By default, the filename takes the format of ROD394-YYYY-MM.XML, for example ROD394-2012-01.XML.

This XML file can be validated and processed via a third party application (DUKIntegrato) provided by the Romanian tax authorities.
