Introduction

This document describes the report for E-WMS stock positions, when using WMS SKU Management, as available from product update 411.

Description

Exact Globe Next menu WMS, Reports, WMS stock positions offers insight in WMS stock positions, including SKU stock. The options available in this menu, depend on the usage of WMS SKU Management. When you are not using WMS SKU Management, please refer to this document.

This document describes the selections, subtotals, report options and report columns of the stock report, when WMS SKU Management is enabled.

Selections

After starting the report, you have following selections and options available:

Warehouse
Selection on warehouse. This is not limited by 'warehouse rights' for the user starting the report.

Location
Selection on warehouse location. This option is only available when your license contains E-Warehouse Location (SE1312).

Location type
Selection on WMS 'Location types', as defined in menu WMS, Setup, Location types, Location types.

Date
Selection on the processed transaction date, so you can determine the stock position at a date in the past.

Item code
Selection on item code. The browser shows items of type 'standard' and 'bulk', and indicates if the item is a SKU item (linked to a SKU type) or not.

Item group
Selection on item group

Serial/batch number
Selection on serial- or batch numbers. This selection is only shown when your license contains E-Serial/Batch (SE1325).

Outer SKU
You can select a specific outer SKU number, or a range of outer SKU numbers

Inner SKU
You can select a specific inner SKU number, or a range of inner SKU numbers

Outer SKU type
You can select a specific outer SKU type, or a range of outer SKU types

Inner SKU
You can select a specific inner SKU type, or a range of inner SKU types

Items: status
You can select items of a specific status: Active, blocked, discontinued, future and/or inactive. Leaving all empty means: no items selected at all.

Items: type
You can select items of a specific type:

• SKU items only: when enabled, only items where a SKU type is linked in menu WMS, Setup, SKU, SKU per item, are listed
• Standard: items which are not a serial number- or batch item
• Batch: batch items
• Serial: serial number items

The options 'standard', 'batch' and 'serial' are only available when your license contains E-Serial/Batch (SE1325).
 

Items: attributes

This section was made available in 411SP14, 412SP4 and from 413 and offers the possibility to select on some item properties.
When a property is disabled, then this item property is not used as a selection criterion.

• Sales: when enabled, items where 'Sales' is enabled, are listed.
• Buy: when enabled, items where 'Buy' is enabled, are listed.
• Make: when enabled, items where 'Make' is enabled, are listed.
• Stock controlled: when enabled, items where 'Stock controlled' is enabled, are listed.
• Only items with stock G/L: when enabled, items having a stock ledger balance account, are listed.

Locations: types
You can select one or more of following types of locations: bulk locations, picking locations, or the non-specific type 'None'.
This option is only available when your license contains E-Warehouse Location (SE1312).

Report options

Following report options are available:

You can sort the report either by 'Item code' or by 'Warehouse location'. This option is only available when your license contains E-Warehouse Location (SE1312).

Subtotal
You can show or hide subtotals of stock positions per warehouse, and/or per warehouse location, and/or per item code.

Show
You can optionally show or hide specific details on the report:

• SKU details: when disabled, only totals per (outer) SKU number are shown. When enabled, the content of a SKU is shown: inner SKU numbers and/or serial numbers. This information is shown in a different color.   
  
• Status: when enabled, SKU status indications like 'Incomplete' or 'Overfull' are shown. When disabled, no SKU status is shown in the report. This option was added in 411SP14, 412SP4 and from 413.
• Batch numbers: when enabled, the report will show stock per batch number, for batch items. When disabled, batch numbers are compressed and represented by a '*'. This option is only available when your license contains E-Serial/Batch (SE1325).
  
• Serial numbers: when enabled, the report will show the each single serial number, for serial number items. To report all serial numbers within a SKU, you also have to enable the option 'Show: SKU details'. When disabled, serial numbers are compressed and represented by a '*'.  This option is only available when your license contains E-Serial/Batch (SE1325).
  
• Transactions in sales units: when enabled, all stock is shown, including stock without SKU numbers. When disabled, only stock on SKU numbers is shown and all stock positions in sales units are hidden.
  

Report columns

After pressing 'Start', the report will be generated, and shows following columns, depending on selected 'report options'. 


Wrh.
The warehouse code. Whether a stock total per warehouse is shown, depends on the report options.

Location
The warehouse location. Whether a stock total per warehouse is shown, depends on the report options.

Item code, Item description
Item information. Whether a stock total per item is shown, depends on the report options.

Serial/batch
The serial batch number, for serial number- or batch items. Visibility depends on selected report options. When serial- or batch numbers are hidden, or when 'SKU details' are hidden for a serial number item, then this column shows a '*' (compressed serial/batch number).

SKU
The outer SKU number, or inner SKU number when not part of an outer SKU. For stock without SKU number (sales units stock), this column is empty.

SKU type
The SKU type linked to the shown SKU number

Status
The status of the SKU:

• (empty): the SKU is full, matching the theoretical quantity for this item/SKU type combination
• Broken SKU: the current stock is less than the original received quantity on the SKU
• Incomplete SKU: the original received quantity (and current stock) is less than the theoretical quantity for this item/SKU type combination
• Overfull SKU: the current stock is more than the theoretical quantity for this item/SKU type combination

Quantity
Stock quantity total in sales units, subtotals are shown depending the selected report options.


Sorting

The report is sorted on:

1. warehouse code
2. Location or item, depending selected report option
3. Item or location, depending selected report option (reversed from previous sort order '2')
4. SKU number
