Product Updates 423 and 422: Updates to codes for Intrastat type Transaction A2 (Dutch legislation)

To comply with the Dutch legislation requirements, we have previously made improvements to support the inclusion of Intrastat type Transaction A2. These changes catered to the requisites of the 2021 submission format. For more information, see Product Updates 421, 420, and 419: Support for Intrastat type Transaction A2 (Dutch legislation).

In this product update, we have further enhanced Intrastat type Transaction A2 for the 2022 declaration form. The existing codes “6” and “8” are now revised to “60” and “80”. While the codes have changed, the descriptions for them remain.

The changes in codes are applied to the following screens:

• System > General > Settings > INTRASTAT settings
• Finance > Accounts receivable > Maintain
• Finance > Accounts payable > Maintain
• Purchase > Entries > Purchase orders
• Purchase > Entries > RTV orders
• Purchase > Entries > Blanket purchase orders > Enter
• Order > Entries > Sales orders
• Order > Entries > Recurring sales orders > Maintain
• Order > Entries > RMA orders
• Invoice > Entries > Direct invoices
• Invoice > Statistics > Intrastat
• CRM > Entries > Quotations

Note that the codes “6” and “8” will remain for these instances:

• existing records showing Transaction A2 in the Intrastat return screen (accessible through Invoices > Statistics > Intrastat), and
• existing entries for purchase orders, RTV orders, blanket purchase orders, sales orders, recurring sales orders, invoices, quotations, and RMA orders.

We encourage you to run the Exact Globe Next product updater at your earliest convenience. Once that is done, you can create new entries and generate Intrastat return files with the latest codes.
