Online help file: Contract prolongation processes

Introduction


Once the contract parameters are defined the process 'BLProcess' can be used to validate, modify, prolonge or to budget contracts.

 

Explanation

 

The validation, modification, prolongation and the budgettation is done by background job 'BLProcess'. This background job can be scheduled and takes cares of processes that can hardly be done by an employee.

 

 

 

 

Section 'Buttons'

 

Validation

All contracts in the selection will be revalidated. A contract can be incorrect when the item relation is changed.

Modified

The function 'Modified' will first set the contracts to 'Invalid' for those contacts that are ending between given start date and end date. The second step will validate the contracts as like when you use the function 'Validate'.

Prolongation

The prolongation is used to prolong the service items in the contracts. After the prologation run an xml contains information to be used to invoice customers.

Budget

The function 'Budget' generates budget entries for contract prolongation based on selected budget scenario.

 

Section 'General'

 

Using one of the criteria you can narrow your search results.

 

Division

Select a division and all contract validation, revalidation, prolongating and budget prolongation are shown for that division.

Type

Select on the the process types: contract validation, revalidation, prolongating and budget prolongation .

Status

Status of the process. When process is created the status will be 'New'. As soon the back ground process 'BLProcess' is running the status will be changed into 'In process'. After the run the status will show: 'Processed' or 'Error'.

Start - End date

You can give up a start date and/or and date to narrow your search results.

Page size

Maximum numbers of line shown in your screen.

My

If you select this option all process created by you will be shown in the search result.

Mode

You can run a process in 'preview' mode or in 'exit' mode. Select one of the modes to display the processes run in that specific mode.

 

Section 'History'

Depending on the search criteria this section will display the processes
