Product Update 391: Support Country Specific EDI Invoice Format (French, Irish, Polish, Spanish and United Kingdom Legislations)
Background
Introduction
The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is the exchange of standardized document forms between computer systems for business use. The objective of it is to eliminate human intervention in the transfer of data between computer applications of business partners so that productivity and efficiency can be improved. Through EDI, it is possible for trade partners to exchange information in the most effective way. The messages will be sent in a predefined structure by way of a network or Internet via an electronic Postal Office Box.
The country specific EDI invoice format are implemented for France, Ireland, Poland, Spain, and United Kingdom.
