Batch 350 : New Intrastat return format for Belgium
Background
Currently the
Belgium intrastat return file (.sdv or .sdf) is generated in a fixed length format.
Also there is no separator between the data . In batch 350 ITX format
is introduced to meet the new Belgium intrastat return format
requirements.
What has been
changed
The ITX files has the following features:
- The data in the file is separated by semicolons
which enables the data to be exported to other application like Microsoft
excel
- Variable data length in the
file.

In the Intrastat return screen, users can select this new option in the intrastat
pop up.
- Two files are generated for this option :
- Dispatch return - 29MMYYYY.tx (e.g. 29082004.itx)
- Arrival return - 19MMYYYY.tx (e.g. 19082004.itx)
