This page allows you to create and maintain service activity types. Activity types are used in service requests to identify the type of service required. Examples of activity types are installation, repair, maintenance, preventive maintenance, calibration, and others. A default hour type and period will be used to pre-define the resource planning lines when creating the service activity to speed up the service intake process.
All users can create, edit, and delete the activity types.

Type an alphanumeric code for the activity type. This information is mandatory.
Type a description for the activity type. This information is mandatory.
Type the (default) hours required for the activity type. This will be used to pre-define the service activity related to the planning data when adding a service activity to a service request. This information is mandatory.
Type or select an hour item for the activity type. This will be used to pre-define the service activity related to the planning data when adding a service activity to a service request. This information is mandatory.
This section allows you to type your remarks or comments for the activity type.
Click this to insert a timestamp with your login name, current date, and current local time for the remark.
Click this to maximize the Remarks box. In the full screen view, you can click OK or Cancel to insert or discard the changes in the Remarks box.
