At this page, you can create work schedule groups to group multiple work schedules together. As such, you need to create the work schedules first. This functionality will ease the maintenance of recurring schedules. For example, you can group the morning, afternoon, and night shifts together.
Go to HRM/Setup/Schedules/Work schedule grouping, and then click New.
To create work schedule groups, function right 100 - Maintain default work schedule, 101 – Maintain company work schedule, or 102 – Maintain individual work schedule is required. Users with the HR role have these function rights.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Click this to save the work schedule group.
Click this to save the work schedule group and create another one.
Click this to exit and return to the previous page.
Click this to add a work schedule to the work schedule group.
Note: This button is available only when you select a division.
Type or select a division to create a work schedule group for this division. Once selected, the Add button is available at the Schedules section. This information is mandatory. For more information, see Overview of Divisions.
Type the code of the new work schedule group. You can type up to a maximum of 15 characters. This information is mandatory.
Type the description of the work schedule group. This information is mandatory.
Select Active to activate the work schedule group or Inactive to inactivate it. By default, Active is selected.
In this section, you can add work schedules to the work schedule group. You need to add at least one work schedule before you can link it to a person. Once saved, the columns will display the following information:
This column displays the names of the work schedules.
This column displays the sequence of work schedules in ascending order.
Click to remove the corresponding work schedule from this work schedule group.
