Introduction

A hierarchical category structure can be created in order to organize the documents found in Exact e-Synergy. A hierarchical tree in the document categorization exists of three levels, namely Main category, Category and subcategory. Only when the tree has the three levels, it can then be selected during the creation of a new document.
There is no limit to the amount of Main categories, categories or subcategories that can be created.

Explanation of fields

N-New

When this button is pressed, the user can create a new main category. This button is only visible when the user has the right to create a new main category, which is granted by function right 253.

L-Log

When this button is pressed, a log is shown, displaying the changes made to the categories. This button is only visible when the user has function right 253 granted and will show the changes that the users made to the categories.
