Introduction

This overview allows you to view a list of warehouses available and the respective warehouse information such as the warehouse status, the warehouse contact person, the city, and country the warehouse is located.

Roles & rights

To maintain warehouses, function right 434 – Maintain Warehouse is required. Users with the Item management role have this function right.

For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.

Click this to refresh the list of warehouses.

New

Click this to create a new warehouse.

Delete

Click this to delete the selected warehouse. You will see a message "Confirm: Delete?" Click OK to delete or Cancel to cancel the deletion.

Note: You can only delete the warehouses which are currently without stock.

Close

Click this to exit.

Description

You can create a new warehouse, modify the warehouse information, and delete the selected warehouses. To create a new warehouse, click New. To modify the warehouse information, click the warehouse description in the Description column. To delete the selected warehouses, click the check box in the check box column of the corresponding warehouses and then click Delete. You can only delete the warehouses which are currently without any stock. For more information on creating, modifying and deleting warehouses, see Creating and Modifying Warehouses .

You can also view the personal card of the warehouse contact. To view the employee information of the warehouse contact, click the employee name in the Contact column.
