Introduction
This document describes the maintenance screen of E-WMS scanner group
filters, as per product update 413.
Description
It may be necessary to pick an order using multiple order pickers, or using
specific picking equipment, based on the storage properties
of the item, or based on item properties itself.
For that purpose, it is possible to use 'order line filtering'
when sending order lines picking manually in an E-WMS control center.
When sending orders picking automatically using
Auto queue, WMS 'scanner group filters' can
be used to split order lines to specific
scanner groups.
Please also note the
points of interest on scanner group filters in the Auto queue documentation.
One of the differences compared to manual filtering from a control center, is
that for scanner group filters only a scanner group can be assigned,
while on manual filtering you can send picking to one scanner, a scanner group
or to the generic picking queue.
The available selections for filtering have been changed in release 413 and up,
see
this document for details about the changes.
Maintenance
Scanner group filters can be configured in menu
System, E-WMS, Service schedules, Scanner group filters.
You can create one 'filter' per warehouse per WMS module per hand terminal group.
All selections based on warehouse locations (zone, location, bulk/pick/none)
are based on the advised location (when 'picking advice' was enabled) or on the item's default location (when 'picking advice' was not enabled,
and in WMS Receipts Registration).
When the usage of locations is disabled or your license does not contain
SE1312 E-Warehouse Location, then the location-related fields are disabled.
Warehouse
Select the warehouse where the orders will be placed, and where the filter
should be applied to.
For the replenishment process, this is the issuing (picking) warehouse.
Module
Select one of the available WMS processes: Fulfillment,
Manufacturing Issues, Receipts registration or Replenishment.
Group
Select a scanner group, these can be created in menu
System, E-WMS, Scanners, Scanner groups, and
scanners can be linked to groups in System, E-WMS, Scanners, Scanners.
Zone
Select a specific zone or a range of zones, for which the order lines should be
handled by the selected scanner group.
WMS zones and locations per zones can be configured in menu
System, E-WMS, Zones.
If zone selection does not apply, then enable the 'All' checkmark.
Location
Select a specific warehouse location or a range of
locations, for which the order lines should be handled by the selected scanner
group.
If location selection does not apply, then enable the 'All' checkmark.
Item code

should be handled by the selected scanner group.
If item code selection does not apply, then enable the 'All' checkmark.
Item group
Select a specific item group or a range of item groups, for which the order
lines should be handled by the selected scanner group.
If item group selection does not apply, then enable the 'All' checkmark (E-WMS
will then automatically determine the 'to' value, as highest value).
Picking classification
Select a specific item 'picking classification' or a range of classifications,
for which the order lines should be handled by the selected scanner group.
