We have made several enhancements to the Withholding tax (WHT) certification.
New Non-taxable reason field
We have added the Non-taxable reason field in the Reason code screen at . This field will only be displayed if you have selected the Purchase option at Finance entry type. Similar to the Reason code, the Non-taxable reason code is linked to the creditor account.
Note: Currently, only the Non-taxable reason code 24 is added. If you need more reason codes, you can update the XML file.
When you delete a reason code in the Withholding tax reasons screen, the following message is shown:
WHT certification updated
If the transactions linked to the creditor have the Non-taxable reason code 24, you will see “24” displayed in box 6. This applies if box 7 (non-taxable amount) is not equal to 0. Otherwise, box 6 will display “21”.
