Introduction

The following screen allows you to create and modify item sales prices for the items of the selected countries.

Menu path

• To create a new item price, go to Logistics/Reports/Search/Items, define the search criteria, and then click Show. In the Search: Items screen, select an item, and then click Countries under the Monitor section or the Sales price link under the Prices section. In the Item card: Countries screen, click New in the Sales price column.
• To edit an item price, go to Logistics/Reports/Search/Items, define the search criteria, and then click Show. In the Search: Items screen, select an item, and then click Countries under the Monitor section or the Sales price link under the Prices section. In the Item card: Countries screen, click Edit in the Sales price column.
• To edit an item price, go to Logistics/Reports/General/Price - Variants, define the search criteria, click Show, and then select a price in the Price column.
• Type the item code or item name in  Items on the left menu bar and then click . In the Search: Items screen, select an item, and then click Countries under the Monitor section or the Sales price link under the Prices section. In the Item card: Countries screen, click New (to create a new item price) or Edit (to edit an item price) in the Sales price column.

Roles & rights

To create or edit item prices, function right 37 – Maintain Item prices is required. Users with the Item management role have this function right.

For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.

Button

Save

Click this to save the details of the item price.

Save + New

Click this to save the details of the item price and create another item price.

Close

Click this to exit.

Description

Code

This displays the item code of the selected item. It cannot be edited. Click the link to view the item card. For more information on item cards, see Viewing Item Cards.

Country

This displays the country of the selected item. It cannot be edited. Click the link to view details of the country. For more information on countries, see Overview of Countries.

Price: Type

The price model of the selected item is displayed. It cannot be edited. For more information on price model, see Creating and Modifying Items. 

Valid: From

Type or select the date where the price for the selected item will take effect. By default, the login date is displayed. This is mandatory.

Quantity

Type the quantity of the selected item with this item price. By default, “1” is displayed. This is mandatory.

Description

Type a description for the item price of the selected item. For more information on the Item screen, see Creating and Modifying Items.

Currency

Type or select a currency for the item price of the selected item. By default, the currency defined in the Item screen is displayed. For more information on the Item screen, see Creating and Modifying Items.

Unit price

Type a unit price for the selected item. By default, the sales price defined in the Item screen is displayed. For more information on the Item screen, see Creating and Modifying Items.

Total price

The total price (unit price x quantity) of the selected item is displayed. By default, the amount at Unit price is displayed. The total price will be changed once you save the item price details.

Default

Select this check box if you want the item price to be the default.

VAT (Percentage)

Type the percentage of VAT for the selected item. By default, “0.00” is displayed.

VAT

Select Exclusive if you do not want the VAT to be included in the total price of the selected item or Inclusive to include the VAT in the total price of the selected item. The VAT that will be included in the total price of the item is based on the VAT percentage defined at VAT (Percentage). By default, Exclusive is selected.
