Exact Budget C/S

Import screen

The import format of budgets is a so called flexible format. This means that the fields do not have a fixed order, but differ on the chosen options. Budget import can be found in the Budget menu.

[Budgets, Budget import]

Import from

Specify the location of the file you want to import.

Budget type

You can either select {Period}, for the import of period budgets or {Total}, for the import of total budgets. The option you mark here, will influence the import format.

Import budget version

Mark this field when you want to import a budget version along with the budget. This does not have to be an existing version. It is also possible to import new budget versions.

Version

When you want to import a budget for an existing budget version, you can select the version here. This field is only available when you did not mark the field 'Import budget version'.

Update existing budget version

When you enable this option, the new budget amounts will be added to the budget amounts that are already entered for the budget version. However, when you do not enable this option, the existing figures will be overwritten.

Budgeting levels button

When importing new budget versions you can indicate which levels should be used and which levels should be calculated.

• Importing budgets for sub-classifications
• Importing budgets for ledger accounts, cost units and cost centers
